Couples Therapy & Relationship Counseling in Lafayette, LA
Relationships can be our greatest source of connection—and sometimes our greatest source of pain.
When you and your partner keep having the same arguments, feel increasingly distant, or can't seem to reach each other in the ways you once did, it can be difficult to know how to find your way back.
I specialize in helping couples understand and change the patterns that keep them stuck in conflict or disconnection. My work is grounded in attachment science and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based approach to couples therapy that helps partners move beneath the surface of their arguments, better understand what is happening between them, and create greater security and connection.
With more than 15 years of clinical experience, I bring extensive training in couples therapy, relationship dynamics, conflict resolution, and attachment-based approaches to this work. I believe that even our most frustrating relationship patterns often make more sense when we understand what is happening underneath them—and that understanding can create new possibilities for how we reach for and respond to one another.
I am deeply committed to helping people find greater balance in relationship—within themselves and with those they love.
Relationships can become complicated. Finding a way forward doesn't have to happen alone.
Sometimes the work is about repairing and strengthening a relationship. Sometimes it's about deciding whether a relationship should continue. And sometimes it's about learning how to move through a transition, separation, or changing family structure with greater clarity and less conflict.
My practice is centered around helping people navigate relationships—particularly during the moments when familiar ways of communicating, coping, or solving problems no longer seem to work.
